Shaping the Interface

This project was a collaboration with an automotive R&D team to design the UI for an AI tool that could generate both 2D and 3D car models. With only a week to deliver, the challenge was to craft something fresh, intuitive, and a bit unexpected. I turned to vehicle HUDs for inspiration, combining glassmorphism with subtle analog details to give the interface a unique feel. Films like Batman v Superman, Minority Report, and Blade Runner 2049 also influenced the design, adding a futuristic touch. The goal was to create a UI that felt modern but still familiar enough to engage both designers and engineers, striking the right balance between innovation and usability.

Designing with Purpose

The entire process, from conceptualization to prototyping and final design, took place over just seven days. Every detail was carefully considered, from the layered textures of glassmorphism to the tactile analog elements that added depth and character to the interface. This was not just about aesthetics. It was about creating something functional and purposeful. The feedback from the team was encouraging. They appreciated how the UI seamlessly combined usability with creativity, delivering both form and function in an immersive way.
