Exploring Life Beyond Our World
When I kicked off this project, my goal was to shake up how we think about life beyond Earth. While popular culture often dreams up otherworldly creatures or advanced civilizations, the reality is that extraterrestrial life is more likely to be microbial. This motion graphics piece dives into that idea, grounding it in scientific research. It aims to spark curiosity about the unknown while staying true to the facts.
The Journey Through Design
Spanning 17 weeks, this project involved a lot of refining and adapting. From sketching out ideas to animating the final piece, each step had its own set of challenges. The goal was always to make complex scientific concepts digestible and visually compelling.
Every frame was thought through carefully to balance accuracy with creativity. The feedback I got along the way was encouraging, especially from those in the industry who appreciated how the visuals helped communicate a topic that could have been difficult to approach.
